When most people see S H Fox, they make a fair assumption that those are my initials and surname. My name is Kevin Butterfield and I am the owner of S H Fox Home Inspections. I have been running the company for over 10 years. I spent the previous 9 years running a similar type of company in England. I have always been in and around the property refurbishment and development aspect of the home industry.
So why S H Fox? My father was my biggest influence and encouraged me to strive to deliver not only fantastic customer service but to become the best I could be in both work and life. For as long as I could remember my father had grey hair and through time he was nicknamed the silver haired fox by various work colleagues. This stuck with me and I also started referring to him by his nickname. Sadly, he passed away in 2010 and I decided that the best way to ensure he remained a firm part of my company was to incorporate the silver haired fox into the company name.
I have been inspecting homes, finding defects and recommending safe and efficient ways of repairing for over a decade. I believe my long term experience is evident in my work and I strive to ensure that I inspect every home as if it were my own.
